About

The person who watches the date.

I am Chief of Staff to the owner of a 16-brand consumer products group: hundreds of SKUs, two manufacturing facilities, 30M subscribers. I make sure the decisions he makes turn into shipped outcomes.

Before that I was COO of a payments company through a period of rapid scale, and before that I spent eight years in Marine Corps aviation logistics replacing informal tracking with systems that hold. The digital tracking rebuild I did there outlived my tenure and became the model adopted across the Navy and Marine Corps.

I have never failed an audit or a regulatory examination, in aviation safety or in payments. I am equally at home on a production floor and in a software engineering standup, and the operating systems I build now are AI-first: the tracking, the documentation, and the first pass on analysis run on AI-assisted workflows, with people accountable for every decision.

How I operate

Follow-through

I write down what got decided, who has it, and when it lands. Then I go get it. Things rarely fail because nobody knew. They fail because nobody was watching the date.

Systems that stick

Anyone can roll out a tracker. The test is whether it is still running in month six, after the novelty wears off and the first person tries to route around it. Mine have been.

Filtering

I handle what I can handle. If I am bringing it to you, there is a reason, and I will have already done the work to make the decision a short one.

Range

I read a P&L and a hazard communication plan with the same attention. Equally at home on a production floor and in a software engineering standup.

AI-first

Every system I build now assumes AI in the loop: intake, tracking, documentation, and the first pass on analysis. People make the decisions. The tooling keeps the date.

Method

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. Agile delivery. AI-first operating workflows. Process design, trend analysis, repair-versus-replace, vendor negotiation, compliance program build, safety program build.

Alongside

Three-time bestselling science fiction author, independently published and marketed to bestseller.

AI-first operator. Claude, Jira, Asana, Monday, ClickUp, Notion, and Google Workspace, wired into operating workflows rather than used one at a time.
